Hello, I’m Erin O’Connor.
As an award winning fine artist and educator from the Midwest, I would like to share my work with you. Thanks for stopping by! My painting are in private collections throughout the United States. My work has been exhibited in galleries, colleges, universities and businesses throughout the Chicagoland area.
My belief in art as a medium is for the elevation of the spirit and beyond, yet rooted in the experience of everyday life.
My Dad put a camera in my hands at the age of nine. My Mom took me to my first oil painting class at the age of twelve. I have been extremely fortunate to have a supportive creative family.
I’m building a legacy of paintings one day at a time because the world needs more beauty.
What you may see and feel are slices of nature, animals, florals and a bit more on stretched canvas.
The narrative nature of my work is an expressive celebration of my spirit, joy and gratitude. Bold brushstrokes and vibrant colors give my pieces that unique visual energy that art collectors love. My work has a rich layered effect. This is done with acrylic paint and unique papers.
